I’m a proud L.A. native, born and raised in Santa Monica, California. Upon graduating from Santa Monica High School, I earned the State Seal of Biliteracy for my high proficiency in both Spanish and English. I went on to attend UC San Diego, though quickly realized I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, explore a new part of the country, and find a smaller school. I transferred to Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where I graduated with a BA in English with a focus on Literature. I have taught English as a second language in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, as well as tutored students right here in L.A.. My goals are always to help students reach their academic potential, gain confidence in their abilities, and, most importantly, enjoy the learning process! When I’m not tutoring, you can find me at the beach, hiking, doing yoga, reading, or watching movies.
