I attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Orange County, then went on to get a B.S. in Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a concentration in Spanish. My original dream was to become a teacher, and I have tutored students for over 6 years. Over time, my dreams shifted to medical school, but I still find joy in helping students understand concepts.

In addition to being an MIT student, I was a member of both the soccer and track & field teams. I currently hold the MIT school record for most career goals, and my soccer team reached its highest ever ranking at 3rd in the nation during my last season. When I am not running or playing soccer, you can find me lifting, surfing, rating restaurants on my food Instagram account, and basking in the sunlight as much as I can. Boston winters really made me appreciate the incredible weather here in SoCal! I also have volunteer coached as a soccer trainer and enjoy baking, reading, and writing terrible rhyming poetry. Traveling is a passion of mine, and I have road tripped to most of the National Parks on the Western half of the United States.
